An Altered Label Tutorial

Hello friends! It’s Marta Turska – Grochocka here.  Today I have created a vintage tag, using an altered label, some old style pictures from a photobooth and Lindy’s Stamp Gang products.  I’ve used Starburst Sprays, Flat Fabios and some Magicals to add color.

I created some shrink plastic elements, you can watch the whole process on my video tutorial. I coloured the plastic with Magicals, Sandra Dee Sepia, Baby Blue Eyes Aqua, Delphinium Turquoise.

If you would like to make your elements waterproof, you can cover them with a layer of gel medium.

The shrink plastic makes the colors more intense as it shrinks!

Altering labels can be fun. You can find so many sorts and sizes of labels, even clothes labels! I used a label from scrapbooking embellishments.

I have filmed a video to showing how you can make this, you can watch it below on the  Lindy’s Stamp Gang YouTube Channel.
