Mixed Media Art Journal Page by Marta Turska-Grochoka (Part 1)

Hello dear friends!
It’s Marta (JaMajka) here 🙂
Today I would like to start an art journal story, using colors from February Color Challenge.
The whole journey will be continued on my next blog post, so stay tuned for that 🙂 …
But let’s get to how this journey started:
My background is colored with Frozen Jack Frost Starburst and Caribbean Blue Flat Fabio.

I’ve added some accents with Pretty in Pink Pink and Bougainvillea Fuchsia, there are some stains on laces and some splashes on the paper. You can watch my video tutorial below, which I’ve created for you with some tips and tricks on creating a background in art journal page- and it’s only one from many ways, that I’m using.

Here are a few more shots of the details of the page:In the end, I used Frolic in the Forest Black Starburst to give my page proper dimension and color. There are some accents created with Angel Wings Gold Embossing Powder– it gives my page interesting texture and shine. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day 🙂
